These are awesome and absolutely pillow top soft foot bed, by far the best and I thought the Kekai model was soft. Purchase a pair.

Very comfortable — I wasn’t expecting it to be so soft. Olukai really makes quality sandals that last — I’ve had their Hiapo leather sandals for the past 2 years, as well — which are also great. However, the Hiapo is not water-friendly, which is why I got this pair. I admit I was a bit thrown off by the price (which is super high for a flipflop) — and lack of reviews — but after wearing them for awhile I think the premium was worth it. So, if you are looking for a sturdy flip-flop, that can be worn all day without discomfort (likely do to the arch-support and pillow-like sole); and that that is water-friendly I think the Hokua is a great alternative to the much cheaper competitors that tend to fall apart with use.

Great sandals again living up to the Olukai name! These particular ones are very comfy, they stay on my feet all day. The foot bed feels amazing. I have had these for almost two months and they feel very nice. They do dry up quick as I have worn them in the rain out and about. I purchased the Olukai Ohana leather brand and the foot bed on those were good but my feet were slipping more due to the leather. I like these a lot more as my leather ones from last year stretched out but still are good, but I love these. Pick them up today. I wear a 13 and these fit well in a 13; stays on my feet and the break in time was not bad at all. Get them today; you won’t be sorry.

I have plantar fasciitis and these give me total relief. I wear them all the time and couldn’t be happier. Before wearing them, I thought the price was outrageous, but after three months of daily wear I think they’re a bargain.

I love my Olukai’s, all of them! My new Hokua are my favorite to date. Compared to the O’hana the sizing is the same, but the Hokua are so much softer with more arch support. You can’t go wrong with Olukai either way. Try the Kai Trainer also if you want a plush supportive shoe.

Whoa! This price on flip flops! Yup, that’s exactly what I said when I clicked on these. I could not justify paying almost the same on flip flops than I do almost on sneakers, until my wife who had live in Hawaii for over 10 years said that she had a pair way back when and they were great. Reluctantly I decided to give them a try, I mean what could be worse, Zappos has a great return policy. They arrived quickly as most things do from Zappos and my first look at the was surprising, nice stitching, quality leather and a spongy to the touch foot bed. First impressions walking around the house in them, they do seem about half a size smaller than I wear, I wear a 10 and I think the 11 would give me a little more room for my heel at the back. They were a little tight at first but after a few times wearing them they loosened up nicely. The foot bed is the most amazing thing about the whole thing, spongy and soft yet very supportive on the arch, the first time I wore these out of the house I spent 4 hours walking around doing my everyday chores with no problem at all. This is a lot to pay for flip flops but I believe that you get what you pay for and I think these will last.

For my money, Olukai makes the best-looking, most comfortable sandals, but there’s a problem: They don’t last. Owned a pair of the leather Hiapos and the sole came apart after about a year. Have since owned two pairs of Hokuas, and on both of them a toe strap has broken. With the last pair, the failure occurred after just five months. The only thing that has saved this experience from being abysmal is the Zappos customer service team. A very nice young lady by the name of Marian arranged a refund for me and then suggested I give Sanuks a try, which I intend to do. I will not be buying any more Olukais.

The Hokua is a real heartbreaker. They were instantly the most comfortable flip flop I had ever worn and became my all time favorites. And I take my flip flops seriously. Almost a year in the thong strap broke but thankfully were covered under warranty for one year. The replacement pair made it just over a year when the strap broke again. As much as I love them I won’t put myself through that heartache again and must move on and find something else.

Love OluKai, Love the Hokua flip flop. I have chronic heel and achilles pain and can never wear flip flops for very long before my pain is unbearable–except with my Hokuas! These have great support, are incredibly comfortable, and are the only flip flop I will ever wear. You won’t be disappointed!

Love them. My 2nd pair; 1st pair lasted 4 years of daily use.

I ordered these for my husband and he loves them! They fit perfectly and offer excellent arch support and cushioning. They also look good for flip flops. I have a pair of Olu Kai’s also (Kulappa Kai) and am a fan of Olu Kai’s in general. They are the most comfortable flip-flops my husband or I have ever tried on.

This is my second pair of Hokuas. Best flip flops ever.

OluKai sandals are awesome. The Hokua is my go to sandal for kicking around. Very comfortable and plenty of support even for a long day of walking around.

Can’t be more disappointed…
My last pair of these OluKai’s lasted for six (6) years. This pair is falling apart after 12 months of use (indoors only). The strap between the toes has broken on both of them. The photos I’ve provided will clearly show the design flaw and the limited ware on the rest of the sandels. OluKai’s were always the best flip-flops you could buy. Sadly OluKai has succumbed as a quality manufacturer!

Last summer i began having issues with plantar fascia,so arch support is a must!!Dont wanna jump to far ahead so we will see what happens as far as that goes. But my first reaction is these could solve my problem as they have the arch support and are very comfortable.

These are my favorite OluKais. I’ve had dozens of pairs over the years, but these have extra padding in the footbed so it feels like you’re walking on a memory foam pillow. I now have this model in 4 colors, if that tells you anything.

Replaced a similar pair that lasted over two years. They are comfortable and I like that they can tolerate getting wet. Great for my trip to Turks and Caicos! Arch support is pretty good.

I like flip flops larger than my regular shoes and these olukai’s were no different. I’m a 9 to 9.5 in regular shoes and got these in an 11. Their just a little long in the toe but the heal is good. I don’t like the heal on the edge so to me the 11 fit good.

Got these as a gift for my husband. He has big (size 15) wide feet, so I was a little nervous but they fit perfectly. True to size, super comfortable and well-made. He loves them!

These are by far the best flip flops. Well made, comfortable, nice cushioning for walking, and they look great on. This is my son’s 4th pair. They didn’t wear out, he outgrew them!
Hugh –
Very comfortable, good looking flip flops. Dry quickly after pool & steam room. 🙂
Jake –
This is my second pair of these flip flops. I bought the first pair years ago in Hawaii. I wore them a lot and finally the sole began to become unglued. I really like these. They are super comfortable. I can wear them all day. My foot measures a 12.5. I bought a size 13 and I think the fit perfectly.
Keith –
I’m not typically a flip flop kind of guy, but needed something for the beach and pool. These OluKai fit perfect out of the box and are very comfortable – not like the drug store flip flops of my childhood. Plenty of arch support and stylish. I’d purchase again in a quick minute.

Best made sandal and so comfortable I keep them on during sox

I wear a size 12 EE and the fit was perfect and super comfortable. I heard about the brand from a fellow commercial fisherman who recommended them since we’re both on our feet for long periods on a rocking boat which takes a toll on your body but during downtime there’s nothing better than slipping on a pair of sandals like these!
