Both flops rubbed the top of my foot raw…I am a long time Olukai fan and this design is just not good. Zappos, of course, was amazing in the return process.

These sandals are not your ordinary flip flops. They are made of premium leather and have a precision fit. You definitely can walk in them. You have to break them in, but after a few weeks, you will wonder why you have been wearing sub-standard sandals before these came along.

I love these sandals! I have a high instep and often times flip flop straps will rub against my arch. Not these.
The sole is firm so I can wear these for a long time and not feel any foot fatigue.
The leather footbed is classy and a much better feel than a foam rubber sandal.
I highly recommend these sandals.

My husband has worn Olukai shoes for years. It’s his favorite shoe year round when he can in a mountain state. This pair were a half an inch narrower than all of the ones he currently has. ridiculous

Previously, I have owned Ohana flips from Olukai, and have been impressed by the comfort and fit right out of the box, and durability. These Tuahine flips seemed small – I ordered a 10, as my old flips were 10 – and these seemed narrow and shorter than my old Ohanas. I have also ordered and returned Ohana flips due to sizing problems. I am keeping the Tuahine size 11, since they give me enough width, and room behind my heel, even though these are stiffer as far as footbed cushioning, compared to my old Ohanas. I love Olukai, but I feel there is some shifty quality control happening with their recent items that I have tried to purchase.

The OluKai Tauhine Sandals are great and comfortable to walk around in. They fit very well and supports the arch of the feet nicely. I like how they are well made and durable. These sandals are great in wet and dry conditions and we love them because they are made with materials that dry fast. I really like that they are leather and have a casual look that can be worn anywhere during spring and summer. I’m happy about the nice design and the way they complement the feet.

I just started wearing the Olukai sandals by Tuahine last week. I wear a size 10 but probably could have went for a size 9. They are well built. I have high arches and these beautiful sandals hug my arches. The Tuahine symbol is embossed on the foot bed and the bottom of the sandal. They are ultra comfortable. I can’t wait for the summer to get here so I can wear them to the beach and outside for long walks. I have the brown color which goes with jeans and shorts.

Size was fine but I order up one full sized based on customer reviews. I normally wear a 10 M but ordered 11m and they fit perfectly.

I’ve been wearing Olukai’s for many years. Compared with the Ohana model, the Tuahine is smaller in length and width. I have always worn Ohana size 11, but needed Tuahine in 12. While the Tuahine is narrower than the Ohana, the medium width is fine in both.

I purchased this because they no longer make the nui in black. I love Olukai sandals and the leather bottom ones are far better in my mind. I find the rubber/plastic footbed to hot These however don’t make the soles of my feet sweat. They have a good styling too

Have had many Olukai sandals which are normally wide. These were incredibly narrow and felt half size smaller than normal.

This is my 4th pair of Olukai sandals. I love the unique gray color, as Olukai doesn’t make a lot of gray options. The sandal and foot bed is super comfortable, as expected. It does fit small, so I had to size up to 11 (I normally wear a 10 in other brands).
There wasn’t a break-in period, so they were comfortable from Day 1. I expect to wear these for the next 5+ years.

This particular style is extremely narrow for some reason. I should’ve listened when others stated to order a size larger. I compared to my other Olukai flip flop and it’s noticeably narrower. I’m exchanging so hopefully the length won’t be too long.

I love Olukai sandals, and was excited to see they came out with this gray leather model. Most of their sandals are some shade of brown, so I like to have some variety. The footbed is very soft. It fits true to size, and you can use your standard Olukai size.
I really like the classy look too.

fantastic, 2nd pair of Olukai sandals and I’m again impressed with the quality of construction, the looks, and the fit. nice leather foot bed and comfortable straps. tread is pretty decent and non-marking. not much cushioning (as expected) but nicely contoured. I wouldn’t call it arch support, but it does feel nice.

Olukai doesn’t have a lot of gray sandal options, so I was glad to see these. They are very comfortable, and fit like other Olukai slippers do. There was no break-in period required either. These are great for matching with gray outfits.
